No, this is not a site for recovering alcoholics. Rather, its purpose is to provide what its author hopes is a sobering assessment of the state of the culture. Such a purpose suggests that American culture needs sobering up, that its inebriated state could use a sizable dose of emetic to purge its body and spirit of whatever substance is getting in the way of reality. Whether the author has the wherewithal to provide that remains to be seen.
